Knots and Tangles

Having a job, I've found, really puts a knot in one's knitting time!

Update, schmupdate

I ask myself again, WHY exactly am I writing things and posting things? I'm fairly certain that the "clicks" I do receive are simply people surving through the blog ring and accidentally end up on me. Only to leave ASAP. Again I ask, why do I bother? I'm not entirely sure, but I know that I continue to do it, so I might as well shut up and get on with it.

So the job is going well. It's been about two weeks now, so only 5 more to go which is sort of sad. It goes so damned fast. It's been pretty relaxed all in all, I've got some things that I'm working on that keep me busy enough, but not so busy that I'm a crazy woman. Like today, for example, I didn't get much done. But yesterday I got a load done so I think I'm even.

Last night I shopped as if I was actually making a school psychologist's salary, which I am not. However, I do have to look the part, and since all of my summery clothes were casual (partly due to the fact the job I had last summer required casual clothes)... I spent some money. And, truth be told, I don't feel bad about it. So THERE!

Got a new coffee maker thing today. Chris picked it up and gave it a whirl. It's one of those that you can make basically single servings at a time.... but it came with two 16 ounce travel mugs. It deposits the coffee right into the mugs, and you can do them one at a time or both at once. Very handy for me in the morning, when I don't want to make a whole huge amount in the percolater we have. Yay!

The turquoise raglan is coming along. It's been tough being back working full time along with tutoring. And you should see the laundry piles!! Scary!
